Now In: Kathleen Coddington

Kathleen Coddington wrote her first romance in sixth grade. While vastly entertaining to her classmates, her teacher was less than amused by its racy content. (There was kissing in it.) As a result the budding author's career came to an abrupt and ignominious end. It was over thirty years before she began to seriously start writing again.

When she did pick up her pen, she looked to the things she loved most for inspiration. Her stories reflect this passion for history, myth and magic.

A retired school librarian, Kathleen enjoys reading and travel. As members of two Civil War reenacting units, she and her husband, Neil, are frequent lecturers at schools and historical societies. She has also published several articles about fashions of the mid-19th century. She and her husband and their three cats live near their son in a tiny town in eastern Pennsylvania where she teaches a writing course at the local community college.
