Fearing retaliation from the Mob boss she ratted on to the Feds, Sabrina Marconi knows she has to disappear. When she finds an employment offer for a cook on a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere, she jumps at the chance and changes her name to Laura Marshall. She doesn't expect to have a boss who makes her heart flutter, or to have to compete against two other women for the position.

Caleb Kirkpatrick is bored. When his cook leaves the ranch, he sees a reality-style competition for the position as a fun way to break up the daily monotony his life has become. He invites three women to the ranch, hoping one will stand out. Laura does that and she can cook in the kitchen, but he wonders what she can brew up in the bedroom.
